CHROMATICS

2018

CHROMATICS is a piece created on the moving physical body from a photographic point of view in correlation with visual design. The simplicity of this design is utilised as a means for creating an unfaltering vulnerability in the performers, and unshielded confrontation impacting the observer, but expressing fully a complexity of what human nature can be about.

It challenges preconceived ideas on nudity through the use of choreography, framed by intricate lighting-design, the audience is invited to experience the naked body from alternative perspectives, that yet highlights the complexity and reality of human anatomy, shifting between contrasting and fusing the moving entities in the space.

“An incredible connection between the two naked performers showing the spectrum of intimacy, frustration, anger, sadness, care, fun & play that's possible in movements we might experience daily but that we rarely get to share or see in such fullness”
