The Everydad is a solo on my own father focusing on a father/son relationship and the pressures and expectations of the father figure. The work looks at generalisations of what a father can and should be, and dissects how this has affected our own relationship. Without these social constructs in place would my father have made different choices with how to emotionally engage with his children, and does The Everydad give a platform for a new bond between father and son? Produced by Skånes Dansteater in 2015 and premiered as part of the Wild Card performance program.
